How do chargeable nights affect the cost?

An example $2 charge per lot per night adds $6 for one lot over three chargeable nights. Combined with a $10 spread and $6 commission, the estimated total is $22.

Use the actual long or short swap rate. Triple-swap nights count as three; holidays and broker schedules can change charges. Negative values represent credits.

Calculation

Spread cost = (ask − bid) × units per lot × lots × conversion. Commission = fee per side × 2 × lots. Swap = nightly rate × lots × chargeable nights. Total = (spread + commission + swap) × completed trades. Excludes slippage, market movement and other account charges.
